About Rebeca Gonzalez, PsyD
Dr.
Rebeca Gonzalez is a Clinical Psychologist with a
private practice in New York City. She has extensive
experience working with individuals, couples, and
families on a wide range of topics including
relationship issues, career/work difficulties,
anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, compulsive
and self-destructive behaviors. Dr. Gonzalez’s
diverse client base ranges from teens through late
adulthood and those of multi-cultural backgrounds.
Dr.
Gonzalez has been in practice for a decade. She has
earned an esteemed reputation for her effective
intervention skills balanced with sensitivity and
compassion in order to find solutions to a wide
range of life challenges and psychological issues.
Dr. Gonzalez earned her
doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University in
Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She completed a
Post-doctoral Fellowship at Sheppard and Enoch Pratt
Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where she worked
with significantly traumatized and dissociative
individuals.
She is currently the Component Groups Liaison and
committee member for the Professional Development
Committee for the International Society for the
Study of Trauma and Dissociation.

because I firmly believe that improving the quality
of life is an important and worthwhile endeavor.
